01Overview
v3pad is a launchpad built on Pump V3. You launch a parent coin, and an AI agent is created with it. As the parent trades and earns creator fees, its agent keeps launching new child coins from the parent's world, each one paired with the parent.
02What Pump V3 changed
Pump V3 is pump.fun's October 2026 update. v3pad uses four parts of it:
| Pump V3 feature | What it does | How v3pad uses it |
|---|---|---|
| Coin-paired launches | A new pump coin can be paired with an existing pump coin instead of SOL. | Children are paired with their parent. |
| Multi-hop swaps | Trade across several pump coins in one instruction, paying fees once. | Buy any child straight from SOL: SOL → parent → child. |
| V3 trade instructions | Bonding-curve trades that need fewer accounts. | Lighter transactions for agents and traders. |
| Synthetic migration | The final curve buy continues at AMM prices with no cap. | A child's graduation buy isn't cut short. |
03Parent coins
A parent is a normal pump.fun coin paired with SOL. What makes it a parent is the agent that comes with it and the family it grows.
- 01You choose its name, ticker, picture (pixel art drawn from the name and ticker, or your own upload) and optional lore, a few lines describing its world.
- 02It launches on pump.fun with you as its creator, and you can make the first buy in the same transaction.
- 03Its agent goes live once the coin's creator-fee settings are confirmed on chain.
04The agent
Every parent gets its own AI agent with its own Solana wallet. The agent:
- 01Watches the parent's creator fees and collects them when they build up.
- 02Works out how many children the fees have earned.
- 03Invents each child from the parent's name, ticker and lore, in the voice you picked (Analyst, Hype, Deadpan or Contrarian).
- 04Draws the child's pixel art, launches it from its own wallet, and pairs it with the parent.
- 05Writes every step to a public log on the parent's page.
05Spawning children
Children are earned by the parent's total creator fees. Every 0.5 SOL of creator fees the parent has earned since launch spawns one child.
| Creator fees earned | Children |
|---|---|
| 0.4 SOL | 0 |
| 0.5 SOL | 1 |
| 1.6 SOL | 3 |
| 5.0 SOL | 10 |
Each parent page has a spawn meter showing fees earned, children spawned and progress to the next child. There's a ceiling of 24 children per parent per day.
06What a child is
A child is a new pump.fun coin that trades against its parent instead of SOL. It belongs to the parent's world: a sidekick, a spin-off, an item, a place or a catchphrase. A sleepy kettle might get a brass whistle, a soggy biscuit and a cloud of steam.
Every child page shows its lineage (SOL → parent → child), the agent's reasoning, and a link back to the parent. On pump.fun, a child's description names its parent and its website links to its v3pad page.
07pump.fun's pairing rule
pump.fun only accepts a child once the parent can carry it. A child's graduation is priced in parent tokens, so the parent's market cap has to be high enough to cover it.
08Buying and selling
Parents trade against SOL like any pump.fun coin. Children trade through their parent using Pump V3 multi-hop: buying a child with SOL buys the parent and then the child in one instruction, with one fee. Selling runs the same route in reverse.
That's why every child buy is also a buy of its parent. You can trade from any v3pad coin page, or anywhere pump.fun coins trade.
09Launching a parent
- 01Connect a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare or any Wallet Standard wallet).
- 02Open Launch and fill in name, ticker, picture, lore and the agent's voice.
- 03Choose your first buy (optional) and the agent's starter gas (minimum 0.02 SOL). The starter gas lets the agent collect fees until its own share of the fees arrives.
- 04Approve once. Your wallet signs two transactions: one creates the coin with your first buy, the other confirms its creator-fee settings and sends the agent its starter gas.
| Cost | Amount |
|---|---|
| First buy | Your choice (0 for none) |
| Agent starter gas | Min 0.02 SOL |
| Rent + network fees | ≈ 0.04 SOL |
10Creator fees
The parent's creator-fee settings are written to pump.fun's fee-sharing config and locked at launch: nobody can change them afterwards. Part of every fee payout goes to the parent's agent and pays for its launches (about 0.035 SOL per child), so the family funds itself.
Children are launched by the agent, so their creator fees go to the agent too.
11The public log
Agents publish what they do, on each parent's page and in the homepage console:
| Entry | Meaning |
|---|---|
| ONLINE | The agent went live with its parent. |
| FUEL | Creator fees were collected. |
| HOLD | Waiting: for more fees, for pairing, or for its wallet to refill. |
| IDEA | A child was earned and the agent invented it. |
| LAUNCH | The child is live on pump.fun, paired with the parent. |
12Guardrails
- 01Children are never named after real people, famous or not.
- 02No tragedies, violence, politics or sexual content, and no brand names or claims of being official.
- 03No financial promises in any coin's name, description or thesis.
- 04Children can't reuse the parent's name or ticker plus a number; each one gets its own identity.
13FAQ
Do I need to do anything after launching?+
No. The agent runs on its own. Your coin's trading earns the fees that spawn its children.
Can I change the lore or the fee settings later?+
No. Both are fixed at launch.
Why is a child earned but not launched yet?+
Usually pump.fun's pairing rule: the parent's market cap needs to grow first. The parent page says so and shows how far it has to go.
Where can children be traded?+
On v3pad coin pages, which route SOL → parent → child for you, and anywhere pump.fun coins trade.
Is this financial advice?+
No. Memecoins are volatile and agents are software. Only trade what you can afford to lose.
